Daniele, Associate of the law firm Bird & Bird, specialises in intellectual property (in particular focusing on copyright, software, data base, apps, videogames, format, audio-visual works, movies, TV programs, songs, new media and technologies, design, advertising, image rights, trademarks, trade secret and unfair competition), acting for many Italian and international clients (e.g. phonograms and audio-visual producers, artists, publishers, broadcasters, ISPs, start-up company). His practice extends to litigation, legal advice and drafting of agreements.
Daniele joined Bird & Bird in March 2004. Prior to joining Bird & Bird, he worked for several years at prof. Luigi Carlo Ubertazzi Law Firm in Milan.
Daniele holds a Ph.D. in intellectual property with a final thesis on the copyright protection of audio-visual works and is the author of several publications on intellectual property topics (copyright protection, audio-visual works, musical works, trade secret, right of publicity and advertising).
He teaches lessons in Master and Post-Graduate courses for the Università Ca’ Foscari in Venice, and he is a lecturer for the Università di Pavia and lectures in seminars and conferences in the field of intellectual property.
Daniele also specialises in tourism law. He has lectured for the Università di Pavia in this field for several years.
